Yippee - Summer holidays

Woke up at 4:30am for no particular reason. Probably the summer months are catching up on sleep. Typically the sleep hours are shorter unlike the recently gone winter.
Evi finished her exams yesterday and is in full enthusiasm of relishing the free two months that will follow. Ani is participating in a dance as part of his school annual day function. The theme seems national integration since the only song I hear when we talk about school is Mile Sur Mera tumhara. That song was such a popular one during its time about 17-18 yrs back.
Summer holidays for a parent who is on a job is so boring, since in most likelihood he will be alone while three fourth of his family is at his in-laws place. Suddenly he misses his family the most and almost tricked into calling out to wife or kids for something as trivial as food, chat etc. Then, reality bites with having to prepare something which is edible and satiates the stomach.
Life gets so depressing w/o the family around.
What a social setup and how we are spoilt by it?
