A sense of pride prevailed over the weekend, when the roaring beast showed up 10000km on the odometer and that was a kodak moment. A lack of camera prevented me from capturing that. So far, the rides on the bull have been wonderful with each ride more satisfying than the other. Going down memory lane, since I purchased it from a closeby dealer during Jan '07, there have been quiet many rides. Christened "Mithwa" by my kids, the bull rides have got better with time.

My first trip was to Mysore and back - about 300km in a day.
Four of us decided to go one fine Saturday all the way to Mysore, climb to darshan on Chamundi Hill and then drive back home.

Another trip was to a place can Savanadurga near Ramanagaram on the Bangalore-Mysore highway a couple of months later. We drove till the foothill and then climbed up the summit to view a wonderful scenic view of the surrounding area from the top. We were all getting prepared for the big one to follow a couple of rides later.
The next one was to Nandi Hills and back which was a short trip 60km one way.
And the biggest one so far was a 1840 km ride from Delhi-Leh-Srinagar trip in Aug 2007.
On Rohtang Pass
Near Sarchu (among the coldest areas in J&K-Himachal border)
Near Naki-La Pass after 21 Gata Loops
We had a couple of detours on the way mainly from Leh from where we went to Khardung-La pass into the Nubra valley pretty close to Siachen. There are military checkpoints on the way and those which are close to the borders are sealed off to civilians.
Once we got back to Leh, we took another trip via the mighty ChangLa Pass towards Pangong Tso lake which is about 140km long from Ladakh to Tibet and where the colours of this freshwater lake change with the movement of the Sun.
Well that is not all folks. There is more to share, but I will save it for another day. The journey beyond into Srinagar was more interesting via Kargil and Dras.
Congratulations mate, awesome explanation, for some time I thought I was riding the bike. Shall plan for leh ladak.
