Started the ride around 8am from Vizag after refuelling the bikes as the full group and went on the scenic Beach road at Vizag. There was a submarine at the beach reminiscing the 1971 war which came as a movie recently. Merged into the main highway and drove for about 150kms before we took a 15 min break for water etc etc.
Then rode for another 150kms and took another similar break. After a tank refuelling the road took us into the Chilika Lake region which was quite scenic.
Finally we reached the destination Puri: Golden Sands at 3pm and had lunch. At 4:30 we set off towards the Sun temple at Konark and then visited the Puri Jaganath temple. That was amazing.
Returned to the hotel at around 10pm and retired for the night.
We had done about 486kms that day.
