It has been a very long time since I last wrote and the mind has been playing a very long IPL (Insane Pondering Laments). Thoughts followed by actions on how to contribute to reducing global warming, take up a future course etc etc, getting the body back in shape with the enthusiastic workouts and the pain afterwards.
Mind is in my opinion the most difficult thing to control. It is fully encompassed in us but the creativity, satisfaction and the suffering know no bounds when it gets going. There is a saying or something to that effect on how realization of self is based on the thinking maturity and training of the mind, while the corollary exists on how an idle mind is a devils workship when it gets to worrying about how things can go wrong when it doesn't.
Now the body which is the natural container of the mind and everything else, follows it mundane process of rejuvenatory growth from birth to adolescence and by around the late 20's peaks out and the ageing process begins. The mind however is an independent entity which allows you to remain the way you were as a child or transform yourself based on the external conditioning factors and experiences both positively and negatively.
Our nation is a conundrum of paradoxes. We take pride in our traditions, the abundance of natural diversity with people and associated cultures. Some of the worlds richest and the poorest live here and yet being happy with ones existence. Since independence when our forefathers rose to drive out the empire on the principles of non-violence to give us freedom, many incidents in the recent times show that we have taken our freedom and existence for granted. We need to do what is right. It is our responsibility that our nation and all its goodness is preserved for those who have not yet been conceived, passing on the inheritance and legacy of goodness than allow degenerativity to grow which every generation has experienced so far.
Think about it - If man is a highly advanced creation of nature, do we need nations and borders separating each other? We have evolved by natural selection to where we are and yet at the snap of a finger display animal behavior. Where are we going?
